This site forms part of the final project for students attending the blended learning course ‘Critical Thinking and Media Competence’ in the language centre of the Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg during the winter semester of 2014-15.
Students were offered two possible final projects: to prepare either a group video, or a group essay, on any of the topics discussed in the course. This site represents the results of the group essay work.
The names of the students involved have not been published, and I have confined myself to minor layout corrections, and the construction of the site itself.
Technically, group work was done in Google Docs, then published to the web, and the data pulled into this site via RapidWeaver and Loghound's Pluskit plug in. Permission to use the photograph was granted by the OVGU.
